Set [in a fixed direction & unmovable] your affection [what your mind dwells on]
on things above [that are of timeless & higher value] ,
not on things on the earth [that are of temporal & depressing value].

Pray the Word:
Lord, this is good. . . . to be accused of being SET IN MY WAYS. . . . . when it comes to loving & serving You. But ---- I also want to be SET IN MY WAYS on how I handle what each day of my life brings my way. I’m reminded today that I alone am the one who makes the choice on which things my mind will set it’s affection on.
