It is the spirit [the inner man of perception] that quickeneth [restores to life];
the flesh [bodily desires & emotions] profiteth nothing: [conveys no benefit whatever]
the WORDS THAT I SPEAK TO YOU,
THEY ARE SPIRIT [give perception],
and THEY ARE LIFE [life-giving].

Pray the Word:
Lord, it has taken awhile to learn why those ‘breakthroughs’ we were looking for seemed to be so elusive at times. Until I learned to pray Your Words [that are Truth & are Alive], my prayers were only meaningless words. Now I know where the hope I need to keep going & the guidance and directions I need for my ‘breakthroughs’ are revealed. . . Your Words.
