II Tim. 3: 16

All Scripture is given by inspiration of God [God-breathed],

and profitable [valuable] for DOCTRINE [teaching & instruction of the will of God],

for REPROOF [convincing of Truth & convicting of error],

for CORRECTION [restoring things to their proper uses and places, correcting false notions and mistaken views],

for INSTRUCTION [communicating knowledge] in righteousness [holy living, conformity to God's will in thought, purpose, and action].

Pray the Word:

Lord, most love to skim through Your Word and read it’s incredible stories, inspiring psalms and awesome revelations of a ’better place’ in the future for them . . . . . . but, to read it for the actual purpose of being reproved, corrected, and taught Your will and Your way is another thing – albeit, the most important! This can be uncomfortable at times and, at other times, it is exhilarating!
