Come to Me,
ALL YOU WHO LABOR [overdo]
and are HEAVY-LADEN [very tired & troubled]
and OVERBURDENED [too much weight on your shoulders],
and I [Jesus, Who alone took on the weight of this world for you]
will CAUSE YOU to REST.

Lord, . . . we’re all searching frantically for some REST! We’re a ‘tired’ generation of people. Our lives, all too often, has brought us stress & frustration that exhausts us mentally, emotionally & physically. We find ourselves tired & troubled from the constant weight on our shoulders.
But . . . . You are pleading with us to keep coming to You daily for the REST we are looking for. . . . that REST where we feel so sheltered in Your love & and are resting in the natural rhythm of Your grace of unearned favor granted to us out of Your goodwill, rather than from justice we deserve, that though the storm all around us be raging . . . we have peace & REST!
But . . . .
