And Peter REMEMBERED how Jesus said to him,

Before a cock crows twice, you will utterly deny Me [disclaiming all connection with Me] three times.

And having put his thought upon it [and REMEMBERING], he broke down and wept aloud and lamented.

Pray the Word:

Lord, how easy it is to forget who we are and to Whom we belong. The daily rush of living our lives can easily cause us to lose ourselves, which will lead us to lose our cause & purpose, our heritage, our ability to focus on the tasks at hand, and, even, lose our relationship with You. Help me to constantly REMEMBER my daily assurance of living life successfully is the fact that I am Your child & to never let it go!
