What’s your motive?I Cor. 13:3
Even if [despite the fact that] I dole out all that I have [to the poor in providing] food,
and if [despite the fact that] I surrender my body to be burned [in order that I may boast],
but have not love (coming from God's love in me),
I gain [profited or helped] nothing [results in no satisfaction, advancement, success or respect] .

Pray the Word:Lord, I want whatever I speak, whatever I have, whatever I know, whatever I do, whatever I suffer, to count for something. . . . not for me. . . . but for You!
