Invitation to fine dining Jn.21: 12-13
[This is Jesus appearing to the disciples just after His crucifixion & resurrection. These guys are discouraged and have horrible feelings of failure they haven't fully dealt with yet. They have pulled back spiritually, with feelings of personal failure, shattered dreams and expectations.]

Jesus said unto them, COME AND DINE. [move toward me and break your fast]
And none of the disciples ventured or dared ask him, Who are you? because they well knew that it was the Lord.

Lord, thank You for the STANDING INVITATION to COME AND DINE. You offer us a place where we are given nourishment and fellowship after a time of despair and depression. A place to find restoration when we have failed or were fearful. A place of new energy after life’s disappointments and disillusionments. A place where hope bursts in our soul again!
