I Jn. 1:3
We proclaim to you what we have seen and heard, [first-hand information and experience]

so that you also may have fellowship with us. [united by shared common interests, goals, experiences, views and trust]

And our fellowship [united by shared common interests, goals, experiences, views and trust] is with the Father and with his Son, Jesus Christ.

Pray the Word:
Lord, our desire is to increase our fellowship with You . . . .  to have our lives changed dramatically by having all things in common with you . . . Teach us how to share in the same feelings, views, aims, and joys You have and to have the love for the same truth, the desire for the same objectives, and be engaged in the same work. We want to experience the richness of this fellowship where everything we have is made available to You and everything that You have is made available to us.
