Yes, all that a man has will he give for his life.
But stretch out your hand and STRIKE HIS FLESH AND BONE, [attack the whole person - body, soul, and spirit]
and he will surely curse you to your face.
The Lord said to Satan, Very well, then, he is in your hands;
BUT YOU MUST SPARE HIS LIFE.
[in God’s hand is all of life and it is He alone who determines the length of life for everyone.]and he will surely curse you to your face.

Pray the Word:
Lord, we are better able to hold fast our faith in confidence when we UNDERSTAND HOW SATAN OPERATES àmanipulates us to think he can go as far as to take our life by attacking us in BODY [physically], SOUL [mentally & emotionally] and SPIRIT [shaking the very foundations of faith, trust & confidence in God].ß But knowing the strategy of our enemy and his limitations will allow us to stay firm in our trust in Your perfect will and timeless wisdom; securely guarded and guided by Your love.
