Prov. 14:4
WHERE NO OXEN ARE, [literally, the farmer’s tractor. He plowed, watered his crops, harvested, and ground his flour with it – hence, NO oxen = NO work, NO revenue]
THE BARN IS EMPTY, [no mess of manure and urine of the animals to deal with . . . BUT there is also NO productivity]
BUT much increase of crops comes by the strength of the ox. [in order to gain we have to take the good with the bad at times]

Pray the Word:
Lord, sometimes the only way to accomplish things is to BUY THAT OX [awkward and smelly, but always useful] and pay the price to let him eat, sleep, and doo-doo in the barn. It may not be pleasant, but it is productive . . . having to deal with the oxen [the good with the bad] creates MESSES IN OUR LIFE which can be frustrating, and we forget that they are a normal part of being productive . . . Sooo, we need patience, longsuffering, endurance, determination, a good sense of humor, tons of grace and forgiveness, ability to like the unlikable, the Holy Spirit’s guidance --- and the Agape love of Jesus to put up with the NECESSARY OXEN IN OUR LIFE.

Thank you for reading my blog of thoughts, encouragement and instructions the Lord speaks about to me. It is simply my therapy to write down these things as I walk my journey out with Him. I would love to hear back from you. Each new day is a blessing! Dorothy
