THIS HOPE you heard in the past [remember all the way back to the beginning of what you had faith in then – it hasn’t changed!]

in the message of THE TRUTH OF THE GOSPEL. [which came from the God of Truth, is brought about by the Spirit of Truth, is concerning Christ the Truth, and which contains nothing but the truth]

Lord, it’s evident that hope is the root of our faith that leads us to a greater trust in You and to a deepening love for others. in spite of the world’s ways, there’s no doubt that Your way of love has the last word. . . . and THAT’S THE GOSPEL TRUTH!
