Glory, glory . . . hallelujah

Glory, glory  .  .  . hallelujah

Jer. 9:23-24
Thus says the Lord:

Let not the wise and skillful person GLORY [take honor and acclaim and feel a strong sense of well-being, self-esteem, and confidence] in his wisdom and skill;

let not the mighty and powerful person GLORY [take honor and acclaim and feel a strong sense of well-being, self-esteem, and confidence] in his strength and power;

let not the person who is rich [having achieved through natural means: money; political power; athletic, artistic, or academic success; etc] GLORY [take honor and acclaim and feel a strong sense of well-being, self-esteem, and confidence] in his temporal satisfactions and earthly riches;

BUT LET HIM WHO GLORIES GLORY IN THIS:

THAT HE UNDERSTANDS AND KNOWS ME [personally and practically, directly discerning and recognizing My character],

that I am the Lord, Who practices loving-kindness, judgment, and righteousness in the earth, for in these things I delight, says the Lord.

Pray the Word:
Lord, we GLORY [take honor and acclaim and feel a strong sense of well-being, self-esteem, and confidence] in that we have finally come to understand Your unconditional love for us; and we GLORY [take honor and acclaim and feel a strong sense of well-being, self-esteem, and confidence] in knowing that You are delighted to deal with us with loving, righteous judgment  .  .  .  HALLELUJAH!

Thank you for reading my blog of thoughts, encouragement and instructions the Lord speaks about to me. It is simply my therapy to write down these things as I walk my journey out with Him. I would love to hear back from you. Each new day is a blessing! Dorothy
