Gen. 8:1
AND GOD REMEMBERED NOAH [did not lose track of him or forget His promise to him]
and every living thing and all the animals that were with him in the ark; [all were virtually imprisoned in the ark for months, pitching about alone on an endless sea; where nothing broke the skyline]
and GOD MADE A WIND BLOW OVER THE LAND, [a gentle, hot, drying wind so as to produce a strong and sudden evaporation of the water]
and the waters quieted down and subsided. [a noticeable change]

Pray the Word:
Lord, we will rest boldly in the reality that the Flood did not end on a note of hopelessness. And, likewise, it will not end in despair when we find ourselves seemingly cut loose from all known securities, adrift in a sea of situations where we easily think ourselves as forgotten, and question ‘where is God now?’ You will not leave us to be LOST AT SEA!

Thank you for reading my blog of thoughts, encouragement and instructions the Lord speaks about to me. It is simply my therapy to write down these things as I walk my journey out with Him. I would love to hear back from you. Each new day is a blessing! Dorothy
